MotoTees Style Guide

We use a variety of branded t-shirts to bring you the best style options. It can be hard to tell which t-shirt is “soft” or “more fitted” online, so here is a detailed outline of our styles and the brands that we use to help you find the perfect fit.

Relaxed Fit

This is a basic, classic fit t-shirt. It is a boxy, wide fit with a standard neck. The t-shirt is on the thick side (5.3 oz) and usually 100% cotton. Heather colors would have some polyester content in them. Pigment Dyed brands, such as Comfort Colors are a thicker t-shirt/relaxed fit but have a softer touch to them from the dyeing process.

 All tie dye tees are Gildan brand and relaxed fit.

 Modern Fit

Modern fit t-shirts are made from thinner material (4.3 oz) and have a more “fitted” cut than a traditional tee. Modern t-shirts are made from 100% ringspun cotton, which give them a softer touch and refined look. Modern tees have a thinner neckline and do not have a topstitched collar. All modern tees are 100% cotton unless they have a heathered look, which would make them a blended tee (cotton/polyester). These are our “soft” tees that continue to get softer the more you wash them.
